Snow Crash Artwork Update

It’s been a while since we talked about the Subterranean Press + Conversation Tree Press joint publication of Neal Stephenson’s cult classic Snow Crash, but we’ve been keeping busy. I’m pumped to announce we’re collaborating with Guillem H. Pongiluppi on the artwork. Guillem contributed the haunting frontispiece to our edition of Ray Bradbury’s There Will Come Soft Rains, and we’re thrilled to be working together again.
Here’s one of his work-in-progress illustrations, featuring YT:

This time around his artwork leans into a palette of neon haze and magenta—echoing the title design and perfectly suited to the frenetic pulse of Stephenson’s gritty, cyberpunk universe.
At the heart of Snow Crash is its fusion of ancient myth and high-tech dystopia, and Guillem manages to balance both with a sense of panache that Hiro Protagonist would appreciate.
Typesetting, prototyping, paper selection, and all the other things that go into making a book like this are moving along as well and we’ll have more to share as time goes on.
The Snow Crash main page has more information about the edition along with an FAQ section. If you haven't already, subscribe to the newsletter at the bottom of this page or on the Subterranean Press website for updates when they’re ready.
