CODEX 2026 Highlights
It was a very late decision to attend the CODEX Book Art Fair in Oakland two weekends ago, but I’m happy I did. Held every two years, the fair brings together an international community of book artists and enthusiasts. It was a great deal of fun meeting some of the people we’ve worked with before and others whose work we’ve admired from a far.

Snow Crash Artwork Update
It’s been a while since we talked about the Subterranean Press + Conversation Tree Press joint publication of Neal Stephenson’s cult classic Snow Crash, but we’ve been keeping busy. I’m pumped to announce we’re collaborating with Guillem H. Pongiluppi on the artwork. Guillem contributed the haunting frontispiece to our edition of Ray Bradbury’s There Will Come Soft Rains, and we’re thrilled to be working together again.

Foundation Copies Available Tomorrow, and Foundation and Empire News
Award-winning illustrator Greg Manchess first brought Asimov’s world to life in Foundation with his cinematic, signature style. Now he returns for Foundation and Empire, contributing six new paintings reproduced as fold-out illustrations and six full-page pen-and-ink portraits printed letterpress.
