It’s been a while since we sent out one of our Gyaffs, so we have a lot to catch up on. This one covers what we’re doing to deliver books faster, fewer pre-orders books in 2026, why these changes are important to us (and you, our dear collector), individual title updates, Bound for Good, and some time off.

It’s been a while since we talked about the Subterranean Press + Conversation Tree Press joint publication of Neal Stephenson’s cult classic Snow Crash, but we’ve been keeping busy. I’m pumped to announce we’re collaborating with Guillem H. Pongiluppi on the artwork. Guillem contributed the haunting frontispiece to our edition of Ray Bradbury’s There Will Come Soft Rains, and we’re thrilled to be working together again.

Award-winning illustrator Greg Manchess first brought Asimov’s world to life in Foundation with his cinematic, signature style. Now he returns for Foundation and Empire, contributing six new paintings reproduced as fold-out illustrations and six full-page pen-and-ink portraits printed letterpress.

Weird. brings together original collections of the best stories of weird fiction in volumes that honour both the texts and the traditions of fine bookmaking. Every title is produced with the same commitment to strong typography, careful design, and close collaboration with artists, printers, and binders.

We’re delighted to share that acclaimed artist Julien Delval is illustrating our upcoming edition of Guy Gavriel Kay’s Tigana. All three editions—Collector’s, Deluxe, and Lettered—will be issued in two volumes.
