Copies of Stephen King’s The Jaunt, the newest entry in our Short Stops series, arrived yesterday. We’re all set to make these available starting tomorrow, so here are the specific dates and times:

• Friday October 30th at 10am ET: Available to current publisher’s rights holders. These are collectors who pre-ordered Elric of Melniboné Deluxe Edition #1–200 or any Lettered copy. If you’re not sure whether you have publisher’s rights or not, you can check using our Rights Lookup page.
• Monday November 2nd at 10am ET: Available for anyone to order.

Copies will be fulfilled from both Canada and England, and shipping will begin immediately. Please note that recent changes to EU customs rules mean shipping charges to EU countries have increased significantly.

Daniela Prina has once again created a beautiful marbled paper pattern, which we’ve paired with a pearlescent cloth for the hardcover binding.

Inside, in addition to letterpress printing on mouldmade paper, Grace Aldrich has contributed five full-colour illustrations, two of which can be seen below:

Shipping Update

Over the last few weeks we’ve received a lot of books, seven pallets’ worth, and we’ve been working as quickly as we can to pack and ship so we can make room. Beyond the usual help we bring on at times like this, we enlisted these two little ones.

They’ve been working really hard in exchange for Pokémon card money and lemonades from the cafe across the street.

Because of the limited space, later shipments have pushed back (literally) shipments that were already here, creating a sort of last-in-first-out system.

Here’s where things stand at the moment:

• Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas Collector’s and Deluxe Editions: most of these have shipped. We will resume shipping after we clear away copies of Tigana Collector’s Edition and The Jaunt.
• Tigana Collector’s Edition: we already shipped over one hundred of these in the first 24 hours and we’re continuing to work our way through them.
• The Jaunt: we’ll start shipping these out tomorrow and into next week, along with Tigana.
