Fantastic Short stop. Paper stock, printing, illustrations—everything is amazing

This is a wonderful short story, and the presentation from Conversation Tree Press is outstanding! Heavy weight paper, offset printing, hand marbled papers on the cover - what's not not love?

A lovely edition. The marbling is striking and well suited. The upgrade in paper is very welcome - maybe alternate with various high-end mould made papers as the series continues?
Might we have a slipcase available to contain these?
Overall, a fine realization of a passion project.

Another gorgeous production!

I had not previously read this story, so I had the singular joy of reading a thoroughly captivating, mind-expanding SF story from one of my favorite authors for the first time as a physical book—a that was pure tactile and visual delight to experience.
I can’t recommend Conversation Tree’s books enough: they are gorgeous to look at, yes, but they also feel SO nice to hold and touch. They even smell good. I haven’t tasted one yet, but I’m betting they’re delicious: there’s potential for a full five-sense experience here (if, like me, you enjoy reading aloud).

Beyond the Aquila Rift is a beautifully printed book as are all the Short Stops editions. If I had a complaint it would be that the books are so desirable that it is difficult for mortals such as myself to secure a copy before they sell out. Don't get me wrong, this is a good complaint to get.

This was a very enjoyable story I was not familiar with, presented in a very distinguished edition which I like quite a lot. My one minor criticism is about the signatures, which appear to be chicken scratches, something I find more often than not in many of today's signed editions from many publishers.

I love the quality and price point on these "short stops".

Conversation Tree always knocks it out of the park. Design and color and texture are out of this world [no pun intended]. I also appreciate Tony's literary chocies and being exposed to new authors.

Nice book at a reasonable price

For anyone who did not know or has never read his works, Alastair Reynolds is one of the preeminent sci-fi authors today. His wonderful prose, thought-provoking storylines, and intriguing characters have kept me rapt for over 20 years now. Therefore, I was thrilled that CTP decided to make a short stop version of Beyond the Aquila Rift. The final product, like most CTP editions, is exceptionally well done, particularly the artwork. So, I am extremely pleased with this production, and I look forward to the next one!

First purchase from this publisher. Very impressed with the quality of the edition, and extra points it's signed by one of my favourite authors. CTP should become one of my go-to publishers.

Beyond the Aquila Rift is a truly beautiful little book! I could not help assembling it together with Paper Menagerie, Soft Rains and Gibbet Hill into a bouquet of gorgeous marbled bindings. What a sight they are, the short stops! Highly recommended.
