My First CTP and it doesn't disappoint. Everything is finely crafted and a pleasure to read. Thank you.
Beautiful cloth and marbled cover with specially commissioned illustrations. It extends the concept of creating an artwork beyond the imagination of writing the prose to include the production of the actual book.
The book arrived in the UK in just two days in perfect condition thanks to very careful packing.
This is my first purchase from Conversation Tree and I unreservedly recommend their books.
Highest qualiry books I’ve ever owned - they’re basically works of art.
A gorgeous production. Every aspect of it is a delight to hold and examine. The marbled paper design on the cover is incredible, especially with the metallic inks and the tiger eyes. The whole idea behind these shorts is incredible and that they are easily accessible is very much appreciated.
I’d never heard of this story, but was intrigued by the description, both of the tale and of the various elements involved in creating it.
It may be a slim volume, but sometimes special things come in small packages.
The story was moving, thought-provoking and simply but beautifully told.
The book is also a thing of beauty, from the bindings, the wonderful frontispiece illustration, and even the choice of paper and font - all aspects coming together to create a truly lovely volume that I will very much enjoy having in my collection, and re-reading periodically.
This is a stunning book and, despite it's small size, packs a big whallop visually and emotionally. The production value is gorgeous and after reading the story for the first time I can see why it got the star treatment.
Brilliant
This is such a beautiful and well-made book. The marbled papers are special and the book cloth is exceptional. I can hardly wait for more editions of short stories from the press.
Whoever said great things come in small packages must have been thinking about this book! For its size, this edition is everything you’d want: beautiful binding with marbled paper and lovely book cloth, excellent story with illustration, and signed by the author. And you can’t beat the price.
A delightful short story presented with beautifully hand-marbled papers, an elegant and fitting illustration, and signed by the author—all at a fantastic price. What more could one wish for?
Personally, I would have appreciated an optional slipcase, even if that would raise the book’s price. I’d be willing to pay it. Even a small book deserves to be perfectly protected.
