June Gyaff - Updates from the Press

This gyaff contains three parts: new unique bindings for Bound for Good, Weird. Volume 2 Updates, and a general production update.
Bound for Good
Thanks to the incredible support and generosity of our collectors, CA$6,890 has already been raised and donated to two local non-profits through our Bound for Good initiative. At the end of June, we’ll launch our next fundraiser, featuring unique, one-of-a-kind bindings of Peter Pan and Treasure Island.
What makes this event especially notable is that both copies include original remarques—Peter Pan by Charles Vess, and Treasure Island by Marc Castelli. Marc’s contribution is particularly rare: this is the only copy of Treasure Island in existence bearing a remarque by him. He very rarely sketches in books, but kindly made an exception because it’s for charity.
Weird. Volume 2 Contest and Updated Schedule
As previously announced, the second volume in Weird. is a collection of twelve haunting stories by Ramsey Campbell. We’re also holding a contest for a chance to win a free copy of the Deluxe Edition—see all the details here. Please note one change: the contest now closes Sunday June 8 at 11:59pm, not June 9 as originally listed.
And here is the release schedule:
- Monday June 9th: Full reveal.
- Wednesday June 11th at 10am ET: Pre-orders for rights-holders.
- Friday June 13th at 10am ET: Public pre-orders.
Production Update
Stanisław Lem’s Solaris
Binding of Solaris is progressing well at Ludlow Bookbinders and they expect to be complete by the end of June. They’ll handle fulfillment of European orders, while the bulk of the copies will be shipped to us. Timing has slipped a bit as we now expect to begin shipping from our workshop in early July.
Isaac Asimov’s Foundation
Printing for Foundation is complete, and the sheets are now with Ludlow Bookbinders. I’ll share an updated shipping estimate once binding is further along, but all copies will be fulfilled before pre-orders open for Foundation and Empire in September.
Isaac Asimov’s Foundation and Empire
Gregory Manchess has begun work on Foundation and Empire, and we expect all artwork to be completed ahead of the pre-order launch in September. From there, we’ll move directly into illustrating Second Foundation.
Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas
We’re still going through final pre-production on Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas and are on track for Q4 2025.
Upcoming Schedule
We have five multi-state editions planned each year (not including any potential co-published edition) along with multiple Short Stops releases. Short Stops titles will be announced only when they are complete and ready to ship.
Below is our current release plan for the remainder of 2025. As always, timing and order are subject to change. For 2026 and beyond, visit our Schedule page.
2025 Schedule
- June 9th: Weird. Volume 2
- End of July: Guy Gavriel Kay’s Tigana
- September: Isaac Asimov’s Foundation and Empire

As always, thank you for your enthusiasm and support.
