The proofs for the Standard and Deluxe states for Faun have arrived. They are letterpress-printed on long sheets from the Perpetua type that was composed and cast for these two states. ⁠

Spring has finally arrived, after our Canadian winter, false-spring, and second-winter. And with it we have an update on the projects that have been keeping us busy.

Nomad Letterpress is casting 12pt Perpetua on their Monotype machine for the Standard and Deluxe states of our signed, limited edition of "Faun" by Joe Hill. Newly cast metal type has crisp, sharp edges which produces clear, precise impressions when printed letterpress.

I’m excited to announce we will be publishing a signed, limited edition of Joe Hill’s highly-regarded novella Faun. As always for the Press, it will be letterpress-printed and hand bound, with illustration this time around by our fellow Canadian - the talented ​​Francois Vaillancourt.

It’s been wonderful to see more and more of our vision for our letterpress-printed edition of Peter Pan come to life as development continues. However, we encountered a few speed bumps along the way and now expect to be shipping in the fall this year. We’re exceedingly pleased to announce the acquisition of rights for Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes. Originally published as a Hugo Award-winning short story and later expanded into a Nebula Award-winning novel, it explores themes of identity, intelligence, friendship, and the ethics of scientific experimentation.
